Kevin Walsh President Mr. Walsh joined Brown & Joseph as President in 1997 bringing with him 18 years of experience and leadership in the collection industry, Specifically in training and development, information management and analysis, finance and credit in both public and privately held companies. Kevin holds a BSA in Finance and Accounting from Purdue University. Chris Cappuccilli CEO Chris Cappuccilli played a key role in the founding of Brown & Joseph, Ltd. in 1996. Cappuccilli, having worked in Business Development for several conventional debt recovery agencies, consistently received requests for help from his clients that were outside of the normal company service offerings. Bringing this to his managers, he was denied the opportunity to expand the support to assist with his client’s needs. Cappuccilli quickly assembled a group of Subject Matter Experts with extensive expertise in Finance, Credit and Collections, Quality Process Control, IT and specific trade experience in Advertising, Transportation, Insurance, Staffing, and Manufacturing and Brown & Joseph, Ltd. was founded. Asif Munir Chief Operating OfficerAsif Munir joined Brown & Joseph in 2003. Asif was initially recruited to develop a Management Information Process for the executive management team that would allow a better and more controlled growth in operations. Asif’s accomplishments emphasize over 10 years of experience in the areas of operational management and over 9 years of experience in accounts receivable management. His knowledge in implementation of process control, technology and automation in various aspects of accounts receivable business aided Mr. Munir to quickly ascend to Chief Operating Officer for the Brown & Joseph Companies USA and Asia Divisions, a role he is currently serving. With Mr. Munir’s expertise, Brown & Joseph has seen their growth double in size and their operations become twice as efficient. As a global company with a diverse & growing group of employees, Brown & Joseph is very proud to have Asif as one of the members of their executive management team.
James R. Warman Vice President Receivables Solutions Jim Warman started his working career at Armco Inc., Middletown, Ohio in 1977. Armco was a diversified company that included manufacturing steel, insurance and finance leasing. He progressed through various professional positions in the Treasury and Accounting areas that encompassed reconciliation's, cash management, collections and financings. He continued through 1980 through several management positions and was instrumental in forming a division that handled runoff operations. As Vice President of Treasury Operations for that division, he was responsible for liquidating receivables and other assets originating from operations that were diversified. It was from this position that he formed Warman & Associates, Inc. to handle the Armco receivables and provide various receivable management duties to other companies as well. Jim earned his BSBA Degree - Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. In addition, he is a also a Certified Cash Manager. Dennis Falletti Sr. Vice President, Business Development Mr. Falletti’s experience spans over 26 years as a sales and marketing executive in the Accounts Receivable Management industry. His resume includes roles as an independent consultant and a sales and operations management professional working with companies ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500’s. Mr. Falletti has in-depth knowledge of receivable portfolio purchasing, A/R management software solutions, credit / collections, and the outsourcing of receivables management. In addition to his present duties, Mr. Falletti was elected to the Gerson Lehrman Group’s National Advisory Council’s top 20 advisory group as an independent consultant. The Gerson Lehrman Group Council is a global network of professionals who deliver expertise and decision-making assistance to business, government and investment leaders from around the world. John Whyte Vice President John Whyte was an important piece in the founding of Brown & Joseph. John has worked vigorously for the company the past 14 years. His total credit and collections experience exceeds 25 years. John has been a key factor in developing marketing programs. He is responsible for implementing company procedures based on his experience with clients, making processes to improve customer relations. He has conducted training programs for many departments. John has also written articles for publications in many industries including staffing and transportation. He has been a keynote speaker in internal seminars, as well as industry conferences. John not only helps develop business, he finds ways to improve processes for customers, thereby creating excellent business partners.
Tomara Bradley Collection Manager Tomara Bradley has over 15 years of credit and collection expertise, having specialized in the insurance and utilities industries. She has experience in skip tracing, collections, sales & international collections, training and development. She has given training seminars with the National Association of Credit Managers and has worked with the transportation industry. She started her career with Brown & Joseph over 7 years ago and has been an intricate part of our management team.
Chris Hooks Collection Manager Christopher Hooks has over 15 years of credit and collections experience. His expertise are in the fields of insurance, transportation and staffing. He has an extensive background in the areas that include sales, collections and international collections. He started in the financial services sector more than 15 years ago. He joined the team of Brown & Joseph 6 years ago and has sustained a high level of excellence in the collections field during that period.
Don Leviton Attorney Donald Leviton graduated in 1979 from Arizona State University with a B.S. degree, majoring in accounting and earned a Juris Doctor in 1982 from The John Marshall Law School. Don has been admitted to the Illinois State Bar since 1982 and has extensive experience representing the rights of creditors and insurance companies. Don treats his clients outstanding accounts and claims as his own. He believes throwing good money after bad makes no sense. His collection methods are proven effective. He tries to resolve these matters amicably at first, so that his clients may retain important relationships with their clients. In addition to his collection practice Don has been in-house legal counsel for a start up litigation loan financing company, where Don was responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures, providing legal advice to management, handling and advising on routine legal issues, transactional, compliance and corporate governance matters, underwriting and monitoring outstanding loans, and legal collection of defaulted loans. Don has also served as in-house legal counsel for a collection agency where his responsibilities included drafting collection letters, settlement workouts, litigation, supervised and taught employees compliance under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Don's law practice and his positions as in-house counsel have given him exposure to a wide range of problems in large and small companies from the perspective of both lawyer and management. Don has served for many years as an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program and was chair qualified with the authority to administer oaths, rule on the admissibility of evidence, and decide questions of fact and law in order to reach an award in a case.
Stacy Affatigato Litigation Manager Stacy Affatigato has over 16 years of experience in litigation, including a background in servicing as a court reporter and a paralegal. Stacy has worked with Brown & Joseph for over 3 years and has dedicated her time to improving the company's legal department. She works with many departments including sales, client services and collection staff. Stacy also works closely with Brown & Joseph clients regarding files in litigation, keeping clients updated as out CLLA certified attorneys work the cases. Stacy has made it a part of her career to educate both Brown & Joseph staff and Brown & Joseph clients on the litigation process.
